A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Tortured for Christ Movie
When we set out to film the Tortured for Christ movie, we knew we wanted to film entirely in Romania. We had no idea, however, that we would be allowed to film in one of the actual prisons where Pastor Wurmbrand was brutally tortured for his faith in Jesus Christ. This was an amazing blessing, as the prison looks today exactly as it did when Pastor Wurmbrand was held there by Communist authorities.

Pastor Wurmbrand often spoke of the cold and the constant dripping of water in his dark, solitary cell. Now we were there, in the dead of winter, in the same dark, damp cell. We wore heavy winter clothing, but we were still cold. It was hard to imagine what the prisoners endured.

The Tortured for Christ movie closely follows Pastor Wurmbrand’s book by the same title. And for a limited-time we have the opportunity to present this film in theaters across the country. Please visit www.TorturedforChrist.com to see if it will be showing in a theater in your area. When you purchase a ticket online, you will also receive a free copy of the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Tortured for Christ book.

After ordering your ticket, forward this email to your friends and ask them to join you in watching this powerful presentation of courage, love and forgiveness.

The limited theatrical event is March 5. However, tickets must be pre-purchased to guarantee that theaters will confirm the showing.
