This year’s International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) on Sunday, Nov. 3, is fast approaching. Be among the first people to watch The Voice of the Martyrs’ new IDOP video, Sang-chul: North Korea.
Sang-chul: North Korea offers a rare glimpse of the gospel advancing inside the world’s most secretive nation, where even those who have contact with Christians are considered enemies of the state. Those who own a Bible risk having their entire family sent to a concentration camp. Even mentioning God’s name to neighbors eager to notify authorities can lead to swift arrest. Sang-chul: North Korea portrays how one man continues to share the gospel inside North Korea knowing fully it could lead to his death.
The video is available to download now. You can watch it online, and you will also be able to request a free DVD to share with your church family, small group or Sunday school class as you prepare for the global prayer meeting for our persecuted brothers and sisters. VOM has also created additional free IDOP resources for you to download.
