Let Them Know They Are Not Forgotten

Nearly all Christians in northeastern Nigeria have lost family members in attacks by Boko Haram or Fulani Islamic militants. Entire church congregations have been displaced, and worshiping Christ openly requires great courage and faith. This month, VOM is inviting American Christians to send our persecuted Nigerian brothers and sisters a personal note of encouragement. Because many Nigerians read and write in English, you can communicate directly with them. Simply click the link below to write your note, and VOM will deliver it to a Christian in northern Nigeria.

In your note, you may want to include a Bible verse, a prayer that you have prayed on their behalf or simply a message letting them know that they have not been forgotten by fellow Christians around the world. After writing your note, please share the link below with Christian friends and others in your church or Bible study group so they, too, can join in encouraging our persecuted Nigerian family members.
