On June 29, Day of the Christian Martyr, Christians worldwide will honor the legacy of those who have sacrificed their lives for the advancement of the gospel.
Honor Their Sacrifice on Day of the Christian Martyr
According to church tradition, June 29 is the date on which the Apostle Paul was beheaded on the Appian Way in Rome. This year, Christians around the world will honor the legacy of those who, like the Apostle Paul, sacrificed their lives for the advancement of the gospel.
This year The Voice of the Martyrs is honoring the sacrifice of Pastor Jean-Paul Sankagui of the Central African Republic. On Feb. 7, 2017, Pastor Jean-Paul was shot to death by Islamists determined to eradicate all Christians from the Central African Republic.
