The first request of members of our persecuted family is that we pray for them. Their second request is Bibles. Thanks to the generosity of VOM friends like you and to a generous donor’s offer to match donations on #GivingTuesdayNow, more than 120,000 Christians living in hostile and restricted nations will have that second request fulfilled. You helped us exceed our goal of 100,000 Bibles by more than 20 percent! In one day, more than 122,000 Bibles were sponsored. THANK YOU! These Bibles are being provided at a strategic time. As so many countries, including those where VOM works, are affected by the coronavirus, Christians have more time to read and study God’s Word. As one Christian from Iran said, “Now is the time when we really need Bibles inside Iran. Believers have time on their hands because they cannot work, and they want to learn more about the Bible.” If you intended to give on Tuesday but didn’t, you can still get your gift matched as long as you give before midnight Central Time on Sunday, May 10.
