Churches in China have a long history of enduring persecution, even growing and expanding while suffering fierce oppression. And today, Chinese believers facing the current government crackdown need our prayers, encouragement and support as much as ever. Chinese authorities have closed and demolished church buildings — even some of the registered, “legal” churches — and have raided many house churches. Along the way, they have arrested, interrogated and imprisoned pastors and church members. The Voice of the Martyrs continues to support our brothers and sisters in China, providing help for those affected by this wave of persecution and strengthening Christians with Bibles and other ministry and evangelism tools.
