While Bibles can be sold in the restricted nation of Laos, the Communist government opposes Bible distribution of any significant size. This makes it difficult for Christians like Vanh to own a copy of God’s Word.
When Vanh became a follower of Christ, her husband divorced her and drove her and their children out of their home. On Dec. 2, 2024, while Vanh was out working her fields, someone entered her hut and stole her Bible. Heartbroken that her most prized possession had been taken, she prayed to God for a new one.
When a front-line worker and his wife visited Vanh two weeks later, they happened to be carrying an extra Bible with them and gave it to her. Vanh cried tears of joy as she told them how they were God’s answer to her prayers.
Through VOM’s network of front-line workers, we know more than 850,000 Christians like Vanh in hostile areas and restricted nations who need Bibles right now. You can help meet their need.
We invite you to help provide Bibles for Christians who are crying out for God’s Word in hostile areas and restricted nations.
